Compliance Made Simple

Making Tax Digital

Making Tax Digital (MTD) is a UK government initiative introduced by HMRC to modernise the tax system. It requires eligible businesses and self-employed individuals to maintain digital financial records and submit regular updates using compatible accounting software. The aim is to make tax reporting more accurate, reduce errors, and give businesses a clearer picture of their tax position throughout the year rather than only at year-end.

Our team makes the transition to MTD simple and stress-free. We can help you choose and set up the right software, maintain compliant digital records, prepare and submit your quarterly updates, and provide ongoing support whenever you need it.

Compliance doesn't stop with digital record keeping. As a regulated accountancy firm, we're also legally required to carry out Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks before providing certain services.

Anti-Money Laundering

These regulations are designed to help prevent fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing, and other forms of financial crime. Before we can provide certain services, we must verify the identity and address of our clients as part of our legal and professional obligations.

To complete your AML verification, we'll ask you to provide a valid photo ID, such as a passport or driving licence, along with a recent proof of address, such as a utility bill or bank statement dated within the last three months. These checks are quick, secure, and help protect both our clients and our business while ensuring we continue to meet all regulatory requirements.
